People may desire methods of dealing with panic attacks and/or hysteria without the use of medications. Struggling with panic attacks in public can be frustrating and embarrassing, leading people to not traveling outside their home due to fear of having an episode.
Heart Synth Monitor is a custom heart monitor paired with a software program capable of digitally synthesizing random notes in conjunction with a heartbeat. A microprocessor is utilized to receive the heartbeat signal and translate the signal into an audio signal played through a speaker located on the monitor.
The audio signal is processed into a synthesized musical arrangement in time with the user’s heartbeat. The audio signal can be rearranged by the user to produce a desired song. An LED light can be installed on the monitor, illuminating with the user’s heartbeat. The light can alternate in colors for additional entertainment and therapeutic effects. The system is intended to function as a therapeutic tool for those suffering from anxiety, depression, and other conditions.
Exact size, measurement, construction, and design specifications of the Heart Synth Monitor may vary upon further development and manufacturing.
